Depart Georgetown at 7:AM heading in a southern direction on an overland journey to an ancient neo-tropical / white sand forest located in long creek village on the Linden/Soesdyke highway, where one can enjoy the peace, tranquility, renewal and inspiration of walking slow through the natural forest with each step taking in clean pure air, as we leave our busy lives behind. The body relaxes and the mind clears. Apart from hiking through the forest you will learn basic survival/ bushcraft skills and techniques demonstrated by our wilderness tour guide on how to find a creek or water way, setup a hammock and tarp shelter, use a machete or (cutlass), find and process firewood, start a fire with natural materials found within the surrounding area, roast a snack over an open fire, and all the basic gear and equipment you should carry with you always on a day trip into the forest.
