•  Eco-Tourism is a form of tourism that involves traveling to natural areas with the purpose of learning. It is based on the idea of visiting and experiencing the natural world, promoting conservation, sustainability and preserving natural environments.

• Eco-Tourism involves responsible travel to natural areas that prioritize conservation, community well-being, and education. This type of tourism is made possible through collaboration between global organizations, individuals, and the tourism industry, all focused on educating tourists and professionals about environmental concerns. 

•  Hiking involves a long energetic walk in a natural environment. It typically takes place on established hiking trails or footpaths. 
• Duration: Hiking can be a day-long activity or extend to an overnight adventure.
• Terrain: Hikers follow well-defined trails or paths.

•  Trekking, on the other hand, is a more vigorous and challenging activity. It involves a long journey through wild natural environments. 
• Duration: Trekking spans multiple days, often requiring camping or staying in remote areas.
• Terrain: Trekkers explore off the beaten path, sometimes without established trails.

• Our groups average about 7-8 people. However, they can range as small as 4-6 people.

 Yes! In general, your travel bag should include the following items before going on a nature and adventure trip:

• Sturdy waterproof six-inch waterproof boots or long boots, a daypack, sun hat, light weight and light coulored clothing. 
• Make sure that your bag is as unobtrusive as possible and that it is of a more muted colour, such as grey, beige, brown or khaki.
• As it can be very cool in the morning and evening, or depending on the destination, warm clothing for overnight camping should not be missing.
• You should also bring insect repellent, sunscreen, a water bottle, a small first-aid kit and your camera.

Hammock camping is a form of camping in which a camper sleeps in a suspended hammock rather than a conventional tent on the ground. Due to the absence of poles and the reduced amount of material used, hammocks can be lighter than a tent, though this is not always the case. Wikipedia 

The pickup location may vary for each tour, but our main assembly point and pick up is at Quik Serve on Main and Quamina Streets, Georgetown, extra charge for other pickup zones.

•  Any cancellation on the part of the tour operator due to weather, not having the required number of persons for the tour will result in a new proposed tour date or 100% refund. 
• Any cancellation from the customer should be done five (5) days before the tour to receive 100% refund. 
• Any cancellation done after five (5) days before a tour will result in 50% refund. 
• Any cancellation done 48 hours or less before a tour will result in no refund. 

•  You can book a tour and pay at least 5 days before the tour, however if no reservations were made, we book on a first come first serve policy. 

• Always listen to the Tour Guide and follow instructions for you safety and enjoyment of the Trip.
• Always were seat belts in vehicles and life jackets in boats.
• Do not rush in and out of vehicles, boats, or planes; ascend or descend in an orderly manner; wait until the person in front of you is seated or disembarked then enter or exit.
• When in any Earth Trails Eco-Adventures and Wilderness Tours Vehicle, keep all arms, legs, and belongings in the vehicle, until told to disembark.
• Notify the Tour Guide if you cannot swim.
• When in the rainforest; do not pick leaves, flowers, berries or plants, you are maybe allergic.
• If you are feeling tired or unwell inform the Tour Guide.
• Do not litter, garbage bags are available, just ask the Guide.
• No alcohol consumption above the legal driving limit, while on tours.
• All Covid-19 Guidelines are in effect.
