Earth Trails Eco-Adventures and Wilderness Tours is a licensed and registered local Guyanese tour operator based in Guyana, South America. We offer nature-based adventure eco-tourism, and wilderness tours that connect people with nature and to the less traveled parts of Guyana, where local and international guests can experience undisturbed natural areas. Our tour guides are primarily indigenous persons from different regions of the country with great knowledge and experience of the outdoors and areas you will be visiting during your trip.

Company Bio
Earth Trails Eco-Adventures and Wilderness Tours was founded by Mr. Garcia Weithers, a conservationist and outdoor enthusiast who started exploring remote areas of the country with family members at an early age. This guided his pursuance in studying the theoretical and practical forestry sciences at The Guyana School of Agriculture. This further led to him being employed as a forest technician at the Guyana Forestry Commission and then The Guyana Wildlife Conservation and Management Commission where the skills, knowledge and experiences were developed in map reading, hammock camping, camp construction, jungle navigation and survival.

Our vision is to promote the diversity of Guyana's interior and its indigenous communities, with a deep attention to the natural heritage, sustainable development, and environmental conservation.
Mission
To promote, develop, and maintain Eco-tourism destinations in Guyana, while connecting the local, and indigenous ethnic groups and their communities to the mainstream.

Earth Trails Eco-Adventures & wilderness tours is dedicated to travelling responsibly to eco-tourism destinations while helping people connect themselves to nature.
Our trips are designed to give guests the chance to learn new skills and challenge themselves in a safe and comfortable environment.
We plan trips which allows for plenty of down time and relaxation, while also having a true wilderness adventure experience on the river/creek, rainforest, the interior savannahs, or on a mountain range.
